Description

The Billing Coordinator is responsible for the timely billing of broadcast TV/Radio advertising spots. In coordination with Sales, Media & Fulfillment the Billing Coordinator accumulates required information for publishing USTN invoices to clients – with a goal of accomplishing each month’s billing within 30 days following the end of the broadcast month.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Produce, review & issue invoices on a monthly basis in accordance with company policy
  • Perform quality control check for each invoice
  • Communicate all irregularities to the respective Regional Account Manager
    &Vice President of Sales.
  • Calculate adjustments to each invoice according to discrepancies
  • Ensure all exceptions are fully documented and approved before issuing invoice
  • Prepare invoices for mailing to client after final review
  • Track client special requests on Invoice Register notes system
  • Promote a customer-focused philosophy to all levels of staff & clients
  • Office support including, postage, office supplies, & other clerical duties as
    needed
  • Bimonthly expense report processing
  • Monthly Commission reports

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree and/or prior clerical experience
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency at Microsoft Office, including intermediate knowledge of Excel
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment interfacing with many levels of the organization
  • Prior Media Industry experience a plus

  • Monitoring police, fire and emergency services scanners.
  • Making telephone calls to public authorities regarding traffic and news incidents.
  • Accountable for interfacing with Radiate Media software applications.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates for either position will thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, possess excellent written and verbal communications skills, have computer literacy, be capable of handling multiple tasks under occasionally severe time constraints and be deadline driven.

Job Opening: TV Traffic Producer – Part-Time
Location: Philadelphia, PA

POSITION DESCRIPTION: The TV Producer is assigned to a United States Traffic Network (USTN) affiliate TV Station and is responsible for working with the TV Traffic Reporter to create reports by rendering maps and graphics.

The Producer routinely works with USTN’s 2-D & 3-D mapping systems along with proprietary software applications such as IMS (Incident Management System).

Shift days/hours: Monday thru Friday (variable), 4am to 9am

DUTIES AND REPSONSIBILITIES: The TV Producer is responsible for:
• Understanding local traffic conditions to create reports.
• Rendering TV traffic maps and graphics. Both 2-D & 3-D.
• Working with TV Talent to integrate all elements (maps, graphics, cameras, etc.) during live reports as part of AM drive.
