IVAN SHULMAN

President

As president of United States Traffic Network (USTN), Ivan brings with him over 25 years of experience and a sterling reputation in the advertising and broadcast industries.  Prior to USTN, Ivan served as president of Radiate Media and before that he spent five years as president of The Canadian Traffic Network (CTN), were he directed a seven-fold growth in revenue while growing an affiliate base from 35 to 91 stations.  Before joining CTN, Ivan founded The Sports House in Houston, Texas and before that spent over 15 years at Metro Networks/Westwood One.  In his time there, Ivan rose from the ranks from on-air personality and sales representative to ultimately becoming Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, running a sales force of 267 that generated over 250 million dollars in sales.  Ivan received a B.A. in Advertising from The University of Alabama.

DAVID WASKIEWICZ

Executive Vice President

Operations

Dave has over 25 years of experience in the broadcast industry and has served in various roles including affiliations, operations, and on-air.  As Executive Vice President of Broadcast Operations, Dave is responsible for leading the Media Affiliates Team and Traffic Gathering Organization.  These groups continue to successfully grow and maintain radio and television station partnerships as well as provide traffic incident data to all of USTN’s products and services.  Previously, Dave served as Senior Vice President of Broadcast Operations for Radiate Media and was Director of Television Affiliations for NAVTEQ.  He was an original member of the traffic.com team as their Director of Traffic Operations for the Northeast Region.  He has also held management positions with Shadow Traffic and Smart Route Systems in Philadelphia.  Dave received a B.A. in Communications Arts from Villanova University.

CHRISTINE NUGENT

Vice President

Financial Planning & Analysis

Christine has over 14 years of experience as a finance professional in the media and tech business. Her focus has been on building financial models to monetize traffic, weather, and other consumer content products with various advertising platforms. Christine oversees all legal and HR related functions, as well. Previously, Christine served as Finance Manager under Radiate Media and Pricing & Planning Manager under Nokia. She has a B.S. in Business Administration from Villanova University.

BRIAN WILLNER

Executive Vice President

Sales

As Executive Vice President of Sales, Brian brings over 20 years of experience in the broadcast space.  Previously, he was Senior Vice President of Sales for Radiate Media.  Brian began his traffic career in sales with Shadow Broadcast Services and then moved to traffic.com, developing customized traffic solutions for advertisers in both radio and television.  Brian was promoted from sales and spent five years as the Director of Sales for the Central Region for traffic.com then NAVTEQ Media Solutions where he was responsible for creating programs that combined radio, television, and mobile applications for a team of sellers to offer the advertising community.  Brian has a B.S. from Arizona State University.

Prior to USTN, Ivan spent 5 years as the President of Radiate Media. As President, Shulman restructured management, negotiated long term Radio and TV Broadcast affiliate agreements and spearheaded the GTN acquisition.

Before his days at Radiate Media, Ivan was also the President of The Canadian Traffic Network, where he directed a seven-fold growth in revenue while growing an affiliate base from 35 to 91 stations.

SUE MCNAMARA

VP of Sales North

Sue McNamara brings us over 25 year of radio experience.  She most recently was at CBS Radio where she served as SVP Sales for the division.  Sue was responsible for driving local and national revenue, with an emphasis on procuring new business.  She worked closely with CBS Radio’s new business/cross platform division, the Altitude Group, developing multimedia campaigns for top clients.

Prior to CBS Sue was EVP/General Manager at CBS Radio sales, a division of the Interep Company.  At Interep Sue managed an 80 person sales team overseeing national sales for many of CBS Radio’s most popular stations. She was responsible for maximizing market share and increasing new revenue.

Ms. McNamara began her career as a sales assistant at Durpetti and Associates, advanced to a senior sales position and sales manager. She was named one of Radio Ink’s “Most Influential Women in Radio” six years in a row (2009-2014).

Executive Vice President

Dave has over 27 years of experience in the broadcast industry and has served in various roles including affiliations, operations, and on-air.  As Executive Vice President, TV & Business Development, Dave is responsible for Television Affiliate Sales and new business initiatives.

Previously, as Senior Vice President, Broadcast Operations of Radiate Media, Dave was responsible for leading the Media Affiliations Team and Traffic Gathering Organization.  His leadership enabled the groups to successfully grow and maintain radio and television station partnerships and provide quality traffic incident data to all of Radiate Media’s products and services throughout the US.

Prior to that, Dave served as Director of Television Affiliations for NAVTEQ, and he was an original member of the Traffic.com team as the Director of Traffic Operations for the Northeast Region.  He has also held management positions with Shadow Traffic and Smart Route Systems in Philadelphia. Dave received a B.A. in Communication Arts from Villanova University.

BRIAN WILLNER

Executive Vice President – Sales

As EVP of Sales, Brian brings over 21 years of experience in the Broadcast space to United States Traffic Network. Brian is responsible for developing the sales organization necessary to generate Revenue for USTN across the 1100+ Radio station and 75 TV stations affiliate networks.

Brian began his traffic career in sales at Shadow Broadcast Services and then moved to Traffic.com developing customized traffic solutions for advertiser in both Radio and TV.

Brian was promoted from sales and spent five years as Director of Sales for the Central Region for Traffic.com then Navteq Media Solutions, which later became Radiate Media, where he was responsible for creating programs combining Radio, TV and mobile applications for a team of sellers in the Midwest to offer the advertising community. This was then expanded to national responsibility as he was promoted to VP of Sales for the all the cities served by Radiate.

In late 2015 Brian was promoted once again to SVP – Radiate. Brian has a Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University.
